Allumer Natchez
A celebration of light and community!
Mississippi's only annual light based exhibition and festival, Allumer Natchez, lights up Natchez, Mississippi November 10 & 11, 2023 from dusk until 10pm with cutting-edge contemporary art installations in an exploration of illumination!
Our third annual light based exhibition and festival moves to Downtown Natchez, illuminating Main Street, Franklin Street and Memorial Park, making this year’s event more accessible than ever. The Friday night opening procession led by "Grandma Dot" an illuminated, "walking" 12 foot high grandmother puppet by Philip Cooper, begins at dusk at Franklin and Canal on the side of the Convention Center and moves up Franklin, taking a right on Rankin, and ending at Memorial Park.
