A thriving arts program strengthens the cultural and economic life of a city. Through public programming and arts education, Arts Danu serves students, artists, local businesses, and the broader Natchez community.

Our signature project, Allumer Natchez, is Mississippi’s only annual light-based art exhibition and festival. For two nights each year, contemporary artists transform historic downtown Natchez into an immersive outdoor gallery of illuminated installations—an inspiring example of what STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) can create.

Since its launch, Allumer Natchez has welcomed more than 15,000 visitors across its first three years, with audiences traveling from across the region to experience the event. As we enter our fourth year, we look forward to welcoming even more visitors to downtown Natchez.
